Property located within a less than 5 minute walk from the Wagon Road Park-n-ride. Easy access to I-25 and 120th for drivers. Easy access to bike trails as well. 5 minute drive from groceries, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance!
House is a sort of townhouse/condo mix. Two directly connected neighbors, one above attached garage and one connected along West wall. Neither are connected to this room, and both neighbors are quiet, good folk. Along with private room and shared bathroom, the spaces include a patio, public living room, kitchen, dining room, and there is loft space available for storage, desk, or whatever you'd need in that space. Decent storage space available in garage as well. In house appliances include Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Fridge, Laundry, AC.
Environment is smoke-free, though occasional smoking on the patio is accepted. LGBTQ+ safe and welcome! Current residents include 3 decently social people and 2 cats. Not a party house. House is not suitable for dogs but if you have a cat or in-room pets, they are welcome. If you are a couple, the room is tight but livable, however there will be a higher rent cost due to the extra body.
Looking for respectful, professional people who are willing to share space with others. Room itself is 10x12 plus a moderate closet space. No overhead light but plenty of outlets + spot for standing light. Renter will need to furnish room themselves though we can provide assistance for an additional cost. Can also provide window fan and standing loght. Shared areas are furnished minus desk space in loft. Lease is per year but can be discussed with contract signing.
Details of folks currently living here; Hi! I'm Kieran, co-owner of the house, I currently live in one of the rooms and have a work desk and hobby desk upstairs in the loft space. Late 20s, queer. I am a game developer and tend to work from home, but I don't make a lot of noise. I enjoy creating both on the PC and off, when I'm not gaming or out with friends or my fiancé.
In the third room are a lovely slightly younger couple who also enjoy gaming. They can be a little loud sometimes but they respond well to feedback on that and are otherwise really good folks.
Cats are Livy and Madix, and are both quite social with people though they don't always see 100% eye-to-eye with each other.
