Mostly mountain top doug fir, some lodgepole no aspen, I am on top of Squaw Mtn at 10,400' so my trees grow extra slow and are therefore extra dense/hard which means better wood. I am cutting my standing dead and picking up the down dead so it is all nice n dry, cut 16-18" and split and tossed into the back of my flatbed truck or dump truck. I heap the pile in the middle as much as safely possible to make up for the fact that it is tossed not stacked. I do not recommend stacking it is a waste of time but you can pay me extra to do it depending on distance from the pile I dump . I recommend covering it with a tarp, not supplied, however u can purchase good cheap 2 pack of 12'x16' tarps for less than $30 at costco... and using trash cans to carry it, to leave outside the door next to your fireplace.
My F550 truck holds 2.5 cords. $350/ cord x 2.5 = $875.
each load is hand loaded and hand unloaded out of my F550 truck that does not dump.
I recently bought a F700 dump truck that has a 8'x 14' x 4' dump box which equates to 3.5 cords. This truck is significantly bigger than my F550 truck and requires more room for maneuvering at your dump site and only 2wd so no deliveries when there is snow on the roads
$350x 3.5 = $1225
Either way delivery is an extra $50 within 10 miles of squaw mtn. Additional delivery miles no problem for additional $. 1$ per mile over 10 miles from squaw mtn round trip. Both of my trucks get about 5 mpg or less loaded. Please email me to get on my order list for scheduling delivery
