These catalytic units are expensive new, and are extremely efficient and clean burning. Runs off propane. I tried this about 1 year ago and it worked well. Sparks and lights good.
The knob is missing. Id imagine you could buy a new knob, find a generic one that fits, or just use a pair of vicegrips.
This appears to be a well used unit, but it still works good and these are supposed to last a real long time. Ive heard people even rebuild these since theyre worth it. Would make a great shop/task heater, or for emergency use.
