Hello, I am a local papercraft artisan creating bespoke wedding invitations, luxury greeting cards, and tactile business cards from upcycled wallpaper. I work for a small business, Luxe Printers, which is growing and I am always in need of raw materials.
I am seeking wallpaper: Sheets, samples, partial or full rolls, remnants, trimmings (as small as 5x8 inches).
- Wood veneer wallpaper (especially needed!)
- Vintage wallpaper from estate and garage sales.
- Discontinued wallpaper memos and sample books from design firms.
I will also take (free or low cost):
-Heat presses
- Stationery, file folders, office supplies
- Paper cutters, X-Acto knives, razors, blades
- Cricut machines and accessories
- Envelopes, cards, scrapbooking supplies
- Plexiglass, mat boards, dry mounting film (especially Kodak Type 2)
- Full panel fabric samples
What I cannot use: Grasscloth or fabric wallpaper. Quick test – rip a corner both ways. If you see fabric fibers, it won't work for my process (grasscloth also stabs your fingers when folded).
What I love: Geometric, textured, patterned designs. Any style – feminine, masculine, floral, nature, androgynous. All are welcome.
Pickup: I can pick up on Tuesday afternoons, or accommodate other days when needed.
- Donation drop-offs accepted anytime in Englewood.
- As a thank you, I will make you a custom sample.
Why donate? Wallpaper is generally not recyclable. Your donation keeps it out of landfills, supports local art and a small business, and reduces waste.
Possible sources: antique stores, design firms, thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, trade shows, flea markets, art markets, farmers markets, construction sites, installations, basements, garages, last season's design floor pulls, and curbside/alleyways.
I have limited storage, so sometimes I cannot take everything – but please let me take a look first.
Want to see my work? Just ask for my website, or Google Luxe Printers Denver. I also offer lessons & live studio sessions if you'd like to learn how to make these yourself.
