Simply put, a life coach coaches people in their lives, just as a basketball coach coaches players in basketball. Both types of coach push their players to be better versions of themselves and help them achieve results they might not have attained on their own. The coach cannot play the game for the player, only guide them to achieving that greatness on their own merit.
What a life coach isn’t….
A life coach is not a therapist. A life coach is not a counselor. A life coach is not a mentor. A coach can help you overcome obstacles in your life, but cannot solve your problems for you. If you need help resolving a mental health issue, a life coach may not be the best choice for you. Coaches believe that YOU are the best and only expert on yourself, and that you have all the answers you need within you. Their job is to help you come to those conclusions and develop the skills you need to achieve your goals.
Life coaching may be for you if….
...you have a goal, but are unsure how to achieve it.
...are struggling with defining your goals
…you seek accountability and support in reaching your goals
....you want to achieve greatness in your life
...you are done making excuses and ready to go play and WIN your BIG game in life.
...you are embarking on a new path in life and need support in your journey
