Bailey’s Moving & Storage is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to help manage daily operations of House Hold Goods and Commercial Product, in our Englewood, CO facility. Must be able to lead, direct and dispatch the work for drivers, movers and packers, while assisting in controlling labor costs. Also, maintain communication with office personnel.
We expect our Assistant Operations Manager to have good communication skills, a general understanding of basic office computer programs, be detailed and maintain organization. Knowledge of moving industry practices and procedures. Able to make decisions with limited input. Assist in recruiting and training new work force. This role must ensure a high level of Quality Control and able to train all industry standards.
This position is a full-time “working management” level position with benefits. This will be on location and in the field work and typically reports to the location Operations Manager & General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES to include:
Assist Ops Manager with managing the daily operations, ability to dispatch driver, movers and packers in crunch, ability to train employees in all crew level activities (packing, moving, loading unloading, customer service), maintain communication with office personnel, ensuring safe and on time delivery of products while following all company procedures and standards.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR, positive attitude, good people skills, ability to read, speak and write English fluently, strong work ethic, strong organization skills, able to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment. Local agency level experience, project management, warehouse or over the road HHG experience a MUST.
