We are looking for a reliable and efficient roll-off dumpster dispatcher to join our team. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery and pickup of roll-off containers for our customers, as well as managing the schedules and routes of our drivers. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.


• Communicate with customers to schedule and confirm roll-off container orders, changes, cancellations, and complaints.
• Dispatch drivers to assigned locations and monitor their progress and status throughout the day.
• Optimize routes and resources to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or problems that arise during service delivery.
• Maintain communication with drivers, managers, and other dispatchers to ensure smooth operations.
• Update and maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, driver logs, fuel reports, and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management and transportation.
• Provide feedback and coaching to drivers to improve their performance and safety.
• Use Microsoft Teams to collaborate with other dispatchers, managers, and mechanics.
• Flexible hours are needed. Will be responsible for staying until the last driver daily and scanning all weight tickets and other necessary paperwork.
• Prepare and submit Excel reports on daily, weekly, and monthly activities and performance.
• Have experience with FleetIo, GeoTab or similar fleet management software to track vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with internal mechanic shop and tire maintenance providers to ensure optimal vehicle condition.


• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the waste management or recycling industry. MUST have knowledge of the city.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment MUST be able to multi-task.
• Knowledge of roll-off container types, sizes, and capacities helpful.
• Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other computer applications.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
