Denver Cartage Co. has permanent full-time (or part time) openings for Class A CDL drivers. Drivers are needed for local intermodal work (home nightly). Work is M-F with Saturdays (as needed). Local delivery experience is preferred. Hazmat and tanker endorsement is preferred as well, but not a requirement to apply. Mountain driving experience is preferred, but not a requirement to apply. All of our equipment is newer, and maintenance is done in house. Fuel and def are onsite at our terminal in Commerce City, Co. Paid weekly by direct deposit only.
Our company is family owned and operated and has been since 1983. We have local work that is year-round, we are not a seasonal trucking company as we are hauling everyday general commodities.
Minimum Job Requirements
*Two years of professional CDL Class A driving experience (minimum)
* Local Denver delivery experience is necessary
* Detail oriented as containers must be inspected for imperfections (holes, bad floors)
* Must be able to inspect vehicle, trailer and container and report defects
*No serious traffic violations in the last three years
*No more than two moving violations in the last three years
*Current DOT physical, pass DOT drug screen, pass road test
*Team player, willing to work with others and communicate via 2 way
*No physical limitations as you will have to inspect the inside of containers
*Familiar with ELD’S

Pay: pay is hourly except when going outside of the 100 air mile radius. runs outside of the 100 air mile radius are paid per mile / percentage = approx 60-70 cents per mile
