Regular job duties of a professional truck driver include but not limited to:
- Maintain truck and trailer with DOT pre-trips and report defects to maintenance
- Communicate with Dispatch - load pickups / detention / delays /etc.
- Safely pick-up and drop off freight to yards, warehouses, or customers on time
- Maintain a clean safety record
- Follow city and state laws
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Follow FMCSR guidelines
- Maintain hiring qualifications during employment
- Dependable, team player, safe driver

HERE ARE THE BASICS TO QUALIFY FOR INSURANCE TO COVER YOU
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid Medical Card no restrictions
- 23 years of age or older
- Read, write and speak English
- Minimum of 2 years' experience Intermodal/Container
- Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required
- Pass Background, MVR and Clearinghouse check, etc.
- No DUI's, Felony convictions, SAPP in the last 5 years
- Max 3 minor violations or combination of 1 major and 1 minor in the last 36 months
- Experience with Electronic Logs - we use Samsara
- Capable of using phone apps for communication and proof of delivery
- Must have Bluetooth headset
- Maintain 90% on time deliveries
- Available to work variety of shifts
- Able to work in all weather conditions safely
- Secure loads by zip-ties / straps/ tarps / liners when needed.
- Report defects to POD maintenance
