Offroad trailer with Bundutop Rooftop tent.

This trailer was built on a Chevy Luv truck chassis (1,200 pound payload) and has the origional truck axel (you could add brakes) and it has tons of storage.
Lets start with the hard shell aluminum, electric lift tent that opens with the push of a button. It opens and closes in about 30 seconds. This tent is made in South Africa and purchased thru BundutopUSA and it is extremely well designed and able to withstand 50-60 mph winds. It has a canopy that opens automatically over all FOUR (360 degree view) screened window/doors. There is a 4” high density foam mattress with condensation mat underneath, a center led dome light and cooling fan, storage pockets, ceiling net for coats and stuff, interior 12v & dual USB outlets, 175 watt solar panel. The 300 gsm UV resistant Riptech canvas is very tuff with heavy duty zippers. You can easily sit up inside and even lean on the walls when you are hanging out. The canopy allows you to leave the windows about halfway open in the rain! BundutopUSA has other accessories available such as an annex roof over the ladder, side walls…

The power to raise and lower the tent is provided by a 2000 watt inverter and 100 amp hour AGM heated/insulated battery in one of the trailers side compartments. (There is room for a second battery.) It is great for winter camping using an electric sleeping bag or blanket. This tent was used one season and sells new for $4510 as of April 14, 2024. You can see many great reviews on Youtube.

The trailer is set up with the electrical system in one lower side compartment and a microwave oven with food/dishes storage in the compartment above. The lower compartment top and door make for great food prep and camp stove tables. This side of the trailer also has a 270 degree canopy with legs and tie downs for windy days. The other side of the trailer has the same storage setup that I used for clothing in the bottom and pillows, blankets and sleeping bags in the upper. There is also a space for traction boards between the upper compartments.
The main body of the trailer has two compartments. The main compartment with one large door and the smaller front compartment has two pass thru doors. Included are two plastic trays that you can slide out in the main. All doors and storage have locks.

The trailer has nice wide and aggressive 31” tires (255/175/17 BF Goodrich) with a spare that are in great shape. I added leaf helper springs to reduce side to side movement. There is one small cargo rack mounted propane tank. And I also purchased ($250) the best tongue lock available from Proven Industries. I can claim my campsite then go exploring in the middle of nowhere without the trailer and not have to worry about it. The trailer pulls beautifully.
Let me know if you have any questions. $8200
