Denver Metro based GC is seeking a Superintendent to manage upcoming projects. The candidate will provide on-site coordination for all phases of the project. The position includes coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent will be responsible for project scheduling, inspections, quality control, and jobsite safety. Interior remodels, build outs, new ground up buildings, high end residential and commercial experience is preferred for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Communicate with project team regarding RFIs, scheduling updates, material purchases, and additional work.
• Ensure that subcontractors are executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
• Identify areas of work that are outside of any subcontractor’s scope of work.
• Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdiction.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
• Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite.
• Walk the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
• Maintain records of submittal approvals at the jobsite.
• Ensure that the jobsite is kept in a clean and organized manner.
• Create and maintain construction schedule.
• Generate completion punch list and communicate list with subcontractors.
