Are you a skilled small engine mechanic who thrives on diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment? Designs by Stonescapes in Henderson, CO, is looking for a full- or part-time Small Engine Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment running smoothly! In this role, you'll tackle repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various small engines, ensuring our hardscaping teams can continue delivering top-notch service.
We offer a $25 - $30 hourly base pay
Responsibilities:
- Your day is filled with hands-on problem-solving as you repair small engines, trucks, and trailers, plate compactors, jumping jacks, skid steers, rollers, misc other equipment
- You keep the shop organized, ensuring every tool is in place for efficiency
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory
- Source and order necessary parts and materials
- Identify root causes of major repairs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with management and field personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality
- Demonstrate ethical behavior and promote company culture
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Must have a driver's license and clean MVR
