Position Overview
We are hiring a motivated team member to handle daily fueling, inspections, and basic maintenance of forklifts and telehandlers across active construction sites. This role is critical to keeping equipment operational and job sites productive.
Responsibilities
• Fuel forklifts, telehandlers, and other equipment daily
• Perform basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Check and maintain:
o Oil levels
o Hydraulic fluid
o Coolant
o Tire pressure
o Grease points
• Keep equipment clean and organized
• Report mechanical issues or damage to management
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Coordinate equipment readiness with job site superintendents and crews
• Maintain fuel logs and maintenance records
• Ensure equipment is operated and maintained safely
Qualifications
• Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
• Experience with forklifts, telehandlers, or construction equipment is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Construction site experience preferred but not required
• OSHA or equipment certifications are a plus
