We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. As well as preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet trucks and trailers.
Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational, minimize downtime, and support our ongoing projects. Duties
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all types of construction equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment problems in the field and shop
Maintain detailed service records and documentation
Order and install replacement parts as needed
Collaborate with equipment operators and site supervisors to minimize downtime
Ensure all repairs comply with company and safety standards
Skills
3+ years of experience as an equipment mechanic (construction or similar industry)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license and insurable Motor Vehicle Record
