Position Overview
As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting lighting systems, performing lamp and ballast replacements, and ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards. This position involves frequent travel (approximately 20% of the time) to project locations throughout Colorado and occasionally neighboring states.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of interior and exterior lighting systems.
Working on ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment required.
Driving to multiple job sites as needed in a company vehicle
Maintain accurate job site completion records and submit to supervisor.
Update Supervisor on all work statuses in a timely manner.
Maintain an accurate driver's log in compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain a tidy and organized company vehicle.
Organize inventory in assigned storage facility.
20% travel is required
💡 Required Qualifications
Commercial lighting experience is required
Strong ability to troubleshoot lighting systems, drivers, ballasts, and fixtures
Ability to read and understand work orders, scopes, and basic diagrams
Comfortable with travel up to ~20% of the time
Ability to work independently and with a team
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders/lifts as needed
