Irrigation Tech/ lead
HOUSING POSSIBLY PROVIDED TO QUALIFIED STAFF. We have a small amount of housing we are planning to make available to our staff.
We are located In Breckenridge Colorado in the heart of the Rockies with a world class ski resort, Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting and quality of life. We seek motivated and capable applicants that enjoy living an outdoor, healthy lifestyle with skills in the landscape and irrigation field. Breckenridge is a great community with lots of amenities, recreation opportunities and fresh air.
Safely and productively lead a crew of 1-4 in onsite installing landscaping, hardscapes, irrigation and equipment operation. Have a proven skill set in this field with a pride in leadership, craftsmanship and excellent planning and problem solving skills.

Produce high quality products. Be highly organized and professional, meet production goals all while Maintaining a safe a fun work site.
Skills required:
Capable of learning and applying our procedures and policies. We will train you on these, but we seek staff that has the ability to learn quickly and apply the training we provide.
strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components and repairs. We are seeking an individual that has an existing irrigation skill set that he/she takes pride in as a professional.
This position will require you to start up irrigation systems after being winterized, program, repair, communicate and record keep your efforts.
Strong knowledge of Rainbird, Hunter clocks, heads, nozzels, efficient water use and proper head selection.
Backflow preventer knowledge is a plus but not critical.
Physically capable of lifting 80lbs plus, working outdoors, clean dmv, operating trucks and trailers
Able to plant trees, shrubs, flowers, build hardscapes, install irrigation, sod and other plant materials.
You will be provided with a well equipped van with an organizational system in place.
Must be able to communicate will with your crew and general manager. Anticipating the job’s needs both material, equipment, labor and timing. Be able to follow our start up procedure and manage time to preform multiple irrigation starts per day. We will train you preseason for our procedure and guide you to make sure you are supported. We will train on site and always be available to assist through out the day.

This position will start May 1 ( Weather pending) and be busy all summer through October 31.
