Opening of the Padlock is about 1-1/2 inches wide by about 2 inches tall.
Padlock hook is coated with vinyl to not damage metal items.
Safe Container is also coated to not damage metal items.
Can keep the key in the safe right there with the item or for a spare outside key for the house, heavy-duty padlocked on and just open it up with the code!
You can change the code with the RESET button (see pic).
You open the the padlock with the UPPER RIGHT LEVER (see pic).
Useful if you have contractors coming and going doing work.
