Black and Decker 18V is a good platform to start collecting for home use. They offer a wide range of tools(miter saws, radios, jigsaw, etc), and you can occasionally come across extra ones for reasonable prices at pawn shops and such if they don't have a battery and charger. Part of the same company that owns Dewalt, and though B&D is not for professional use they have done everything I needed from them during their usage at home. Mainly selling just because I already have an identical set. Not a bad deal for a hundred bucks considering that's not only what some brands charge for a single bare tool, but many times that's what one of their batteries cost as well.
