Up for sale is this awesome Nova Comet lathe in great condition. I purchased it a year ago and have had a blast making pens, bowls, vases, boxes and many other projects. It’s a medium size midi lathe with 14” swing over the bed and capacity for 18 ½” between centers. Here are the other specs:
Motor- 1 HP variable speed, 250-3450 RPM, reversible with a nice digital readout, 115V
Spindle- 1” x 8 tpi
Headstock and tailstock both accept #2MT accessories
Banjo takes tool rests with a 1” post and includes a 6” modular tool rest
I had it bolted to a benchtop and it handled pretty much everything I’ve asked of it and I‘m only selling as I was able to upgrade to a bigger lathe.
Comes with everything shown, including a Oneway clamp block that fits between the bed stays for their bowl steady, spindle rest and other accessories. The lathe is currently boxed up in its original packaging and ready to go.
