This is great for floating or any decorative shelves, closet remodeling, bathroom upgrades, etc. Most anything that requires Dowel, Biscuit, or Floating Tenon Joinery. With this you can accomplish basically any DIY project but at a fraction of the cost you'd pay for the higher end versions that do the same thing. There's no need to spend the extra cash unless you really want to! The JointMate works with 1/2" To 1-1/2" thick lumber. Generally speaking, that includes Pallet Wood and 2x4's for those wanting to do some of the more popular "Rustic" and "Reclaimed" projects.
