Long rat-tail handle design for better comfort and enhanced control.
11.5 amp heavy-duty motor with ATC (Active Torque Control) safety feature that stops the motor if the grinding wheel binds up.
Electronic controls keep the motor speed constant under load, provides a soft start function, and prevents the motor from overheating.
The tool comes with a Type 27 grinding wheel guard that adjusts without tools, and TWO Type 01 guard covers for use with cutting wheels.
Works with 5", 4 1/2", and 4" grinding and cutting accessories.
[NOTE: this tool was made in Germany (before Hilti moved tool production to China). Many users prefer the European-made Hilti tools, and it's rare to find an unused one.]
