PROJECT: SQUAD (Short Film)
LOCATION: Parker / Aurora, Colorado
SHOOT DATES: June 2026 (1–2 days)
REHEARSAL DATE: June 13 (2 Hours)
COMPENSATION: Lunch, copy, credits, gas reimbursements
TO SUBMIT: Headshot, resume (if available), and a recent photo showing current hairstyle.
Because performers will portray JROTC cadets, all cast members must be able to meet basic uniform grooming requirements during filming. Production is committed to inclusive casting and encourages performers from all backgrounds to apply.
This role is non-speaking.
STUDENT CADET EXTRAS (MALE-PRESENTING)
Ages 18+ to portray 14–18 years old
Any race, ethnicity, body type, or gender identity welcome
Seeking four male-presenting actors to portray high school JROTC cadets in SQUAD, a coming-of-age drama about friendship, leadership, and resilience. Looking for performers who can authentically portray modern teenagers from a variety of backgrounds and personalities—from athletes and overachievers to artists, gamers, and quiet observers.
Appearance Requirements:
Must be 18 or older but able to convincingly portray a high school student.
Hair must be short enough to be worn above the ears and meet military-style grooming standards while in uniform.
Hair color must be natural in appearance (natural or naturally dyed colors only).
No military experience required. Comfort participating in marching, formation work, and outdoor group scenes is a plus.
Actors of all ethnicities, races, LGBTQ+ identities, and underrepresented backgrounds are strongly encouraged to submit.

Seeking four female-presenting actors to portray high school JROTC cadets in SQUAD, a coming-of-age drama centered on teamwork, identity, and leadership. Looking for performers who can embody the wide range of students found in a modern Colorado high school—confident leaders, academic achievers, athletes, artists, introverts, and everything in between.
Appearance Requirements:
Must be 18 or older but able to convincingly portray a high school student.
Hair must be capable of being secured in a ponytail, bun, or otherwise styled off the ears to meet uniform grooming standards.
Hair color must be natural in appearance (natural or naturally dyed colors only).
No military experience required. Comfort participating in marching, formation work, and outdoor group scenes is a plus.
