We are selling an amazing collection of vintage sheet music and piano instruction books, some of which go back to the late 1800's. The music belonged to a grandmother and her daughter, both of whom played the piano. There are a total of 18 books and 115 pieces of sheet music, spanning the 1910's through the 1940's (both wars). I have a complete listing of all the pieces and the publisher/date. Many are in VG condition, some are in rather poor condition, but still could be used to play.

On sites like eBay, I found many of these pieces selling for $10-30. But are hoping to find someone who appreciates the history, art and vibe of these vintage pieces and the times they represent.

There are quite a few pieces published in the 20's by Irving Berlin, a number of Bing Crosby pieces from the 30's. Common publishers include Witmark & Sons, Harms, Inc., Robbins Music, Robbins Music, Calumet Music, Leo Feist, Paxson and Schirmer. If you want, I have a list of all the music, hand-written, that I can send. Some of the songs include:

K-K-K-Katy (1918)
Kiss Me Again (1915)
Break the News to Mother (1897)
I'll Be Home for Christmas (1948)
It's Been a Long Long Time (1945)

The 18 books are classic, including the Eddie Cantor Song and Joke Book, Sam Fox Collection of Male Trios, First Grade Piano Book, For Girls Who Play, Standard Graded Couse of Studies (1892). They were actually used and have pencil notes.

I have included a few pictures of just a portion of the music-- there is way too much to list and picture all. Hope it goes to a good home.

We are looking for reasonable offers. Else, we will keep in the family.
