2015 iMac in good shape. It just is old enough that Apple no longer supports the ability to upgrade macOS any further than the current version (Monterry 12.7.6).
I can perform a recovery reset on the system and set it to your specs, or install any version of Linux of your choice on it. Linux works way better on the iMac and will make it usable for many more years as this hardware is end of life for newer macOS versions.
