PING Beryllium Copper (BeCu) putters, produced between 1987 and 1999, are highly regarded for their distinct orange-brown, non-magnetic, patina-forming appearance and soft, solid feel.
Material & Feel: Made from beryllium copper, offering a slightly softer feel than stainless steel, and with superior durability.
Appearance: Distinctive dark, amber, or copper-colored hue that develops a unique patina over time.
Design & Model: Classic blade-style shape, i.e., the PAL2 (Right-handed).
Performance: Features heel/toe weighting to minimize head twist on off-center hits and a low center of gravity to reduce skidding and achieve a smoother roll.
Identification: Non-magnetic. Marked with "BeCu" on the heel of the face to denote authenticity.
