The ISOLATOR. The most cost-effective and space-saving solution to do all of those isolated exercises you wish you could do at your limited equipment gym! This is the most simple design we’ll be dropping, but we feel it will be one of the favorites! That piece likely made many of you seeing it say, “Why didn’t anyone create this earlier?!” Not a complex unit, but one that makes so much sense.
The ISOLATOR was designed to fit a series of racks at exact measurements stated on the compatibility section of this page, and on uprights those exact sizes it works very well once it is all tightened down. Now even on a good fitting rack there are small tolerances in each attachment from leg pad to lever arm to carriage on upright and once all is assembled and on the rack the weight of all parts will close those small gaps and can cause a very small lean in the pad and unit. This is small and not noticed by most people at all and not enough to cause any issues. If the tilt bothers you it could be your upright isn’t true to size and it being slightly smaller causes a gap between the upright and the carriage making more of a lean or tilt. We’ve created shim kits for this if it occurs so you can look there as a solution and if it’s not that, but just that any slight lean at all bothers you it may not be a unit for you. We’ve seen in almost all cases the unit fits good and if not then the shims fix the issue nicely, but we like to put all information out there so each customer is informed and can make the best decision if the unit is for them and if so what’s needed to ensure they have the best experience.
