Leidos Digital Modernizion is seeking a talented System Administror to join the team! The NISC V Training Group Leidos has an opportunity the Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA) facility loced in Denver, CO. The selected candide will be responsible for overseeing air traffic control (ATC) simulion training equipment loced in the lab.  They will be responsible for installion and maintenance of the software and hardware. The position is full time daily operion and may require after hours and weekend duty via on-call support.  The System Administror is required to be able to respond within one (1) hour of critical incident notificion during duty hours (0730-1630) and within six (6) hours or less during non-duty hours/weekends/holidays if needed. This position will require 10% - 15% travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installion and maintenance of the software and hardware, to include but not limited to account management, user privileges, local group policy, local software testing, restorion operions, contingency planning, and local backups.

• Ensuring updes and pches are completed and locally downloaded.

• Working directly with vendor and users the site and remote locions to help resolve user and network reled issues, as well as maintaining the integrity of the site domain.  

• Assisting with the development and implemention of training scenarios, including the management and shipment of training pods to FAA facilities. 

Basic Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as in conjunction with multiple personnel in the fulfillment of the individual employee’s functions.

• Must have the ability to gher facts and use effective analytical and evaluive methods to assess informion, plan the sequence of actions necessary, make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems.

• The candide should have a thorough understanding of their respective position, functions, and duties and will assist FAA and vendor in the creion and development of training.

• Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applicions to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS Power Point.

• Ability to travel 10% - 15%.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability granted through the FAA - (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3  years.)

Preferred Qualificions: 

• Experience supporting the FAA is desired.

• Active Public Trust with FAA.

Salary for this role is $40-$42 hourly.
