• 85-hp Rotax 1000 V-Twin Engine
Liquid-cooled, 8-valve Rotax 976cc V-twin pumps out 85 horsepower, yet is refined thanks to EFI and iTC. The liquid-cooled, single overhead cam power plant features 4 valves per cylinder, fed by a 54-mm Bosch throttle body and 2 sophisticated VDO Siemens fuel injectors.
• Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC)
This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 2.13 in. Bosch8 throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode.

• Torsional Trailing Arm Independent (TTI) Rear Suspension
Rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it. Reconfigured for improved traction and optimal transfer of power to the ground.
• Double A-Arm Front Suspension with Dive-Control
The Can-Am Commander's Double A-arm front suspension is designed with dive-control geometry that works to eliminate diving under heavy breaking and rough terrain. The front end features 10 in of travel and five-way preload-adjustable motion-control shocks.
• Air Control Suspension (ACS) with FOX Air Assist Shocks
Via an onboard compressor, the system adjusts the rear high-pressure gas FOX Air Assist shocks to six rider-selectable preload levels. This allows the suspension performance and stiffness to be adjusted on-the-fly. Comes with a hose to fill tires.
• Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)
The electronically controlled power steering provides the driver with three different levels of assistance when steering. The amount of assistance varies with the vehicle's speed to adjust the steering input effort to a comfortable level. Features Visco-Lok QE for a faster engagement point.
• Visco-Lok QE Auto-Locking Front Differential
All DPS-equipped models have Visco-Lok QE, which has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok differential, but with an even quicker engagement point. This differential does not have a speed limiter.
