I am a builder/remodeler, and I can do hourly or contract work. I have 50 + years' experience. I also do custom trim carpentry or the whole house cabinets and interior trim. I've completed hundreds of remodels, and built hundreds of tract homes as a project manager and built many custom homes in the past in Florida as a certified B licensed building contractor licensed in 1984 and built custom homes in Vail with my partner Les Samelson who passed away last year.
Stairs, railings. I've designed plus installed hundreds of high end custom cabinet projects using numerous cabinet manufacturers. I'm anal about showing up and I am usually 15 to 30 minutes early as all my clients will attest. Lots of references.
I'm hoping to scale down in volume and mainly do smaller scale projects. I did recently hire a great helper who also shows up early everyday to work with no BS.
I have hundreds of photos and many references. I also have refinished numerous antiques, mortise and install custom mortise locks, and complicated woodworking and hardware. I was licensed builder and a framing and trim carpentry contractor in the past. I don't need to be licensed for what I do now. I also have a small shop at my house and can build almost anything custom that you might want built. Just understand that the materials and labor for custom items can be expensive.
