I'm looking for a room in an house (ideally) or an apartment, end of March or sooner. Prefer short term / month to month to start so its a good fit for all. Really hoping for off-street parking. Month-to-month works best to ensure all are comfortable or a smoother, easier parting of ways if clearly not a good match (rare). 30-days notice, start of the month until we're both good to go longer. I get along with just about everyone, so I don't expect any issues. I've only had problems with a few that revealed themselves to have substance abuse issues....oh, and the narcissists. They're delightful.

I don't have any pets
active, social, but no problem keeping to myself doing my own thing. More likely the latter to start.
happy to chat politics, but if you're in the cult ( either one) or it's part of your identity, probably won't work out. But I am happy to discuss, even argue my perspective. I fully respect your right to your opinion. We're all of course entitled to our own opinions, but not our own facts..
non-smoker, hope to find the same, including no smoking outside. Tried that before, but ya know, smokers that seem not to realize smoke travels..and windows.
educated? whatever that means. School and then school. I've met dummies with extensive 'education' and brilliant minds with a high school 'education'. Be a decent human and we'll get along great

Might be surprised (or not) how many silly emails I get. Five, eight emails back and forth, and I'm still asking for the location and your rent $$ expectation. or it's obviously a scammer that anyone could spot after the first two sentence..fragments..

also, no, I won't give out personal info (or my photo? ...odd...) until there's a reasonable chance your place, setup, and housemates could be a good *mutual* fit. Please send essential details first, otherwise, how could anyone evaluate it? Truly. I will not send you my number or text you, no matter if you ask me another 4 times, unless you send have basic info. I've literally said to people after 3 emails, I still don't know your asking rent +/-$3,000 or location +/-500 miles, and you still think I'll send my number. you're a scammer. stop lying, stop whining. it's not hard.

***Apparently, I've triggered CL's spam bot (too wordy?) .. or more likely annoyed scammers with my snarky email replies calling out their lies. So they flag me. They threaten to flag me, and then do. So, yay, scammers have integrity? But if it really is scammers, good. Keep wasting more of your time, so you have less time to try and harm the good people of CL. I'm real, this is a real search for a room...
