The house: A recently renovated 24,000 sq foot home with three floors. You'll share the upstairs with me (I have my own bathroom, bedroom and office next to your space.) A kind and helpful male rents the large bedroom with bathroom in the basement. Since we will share the upstairs space I've learned that it's helpful to communicate especially about overnight guests. During the school year I wake around 5:30 am and sleep early, so someone who isn't too noisy at night is best.
The main floor is shared by all and has a modern kitchen, two living rooms, a sunroom and half bath. The yard is beautiful and enormous. Ideal for a gardener! We have an inflatable hot tub outside in summer and bring it into the sunroom during winter. Help with yard work is welcomed, such as: there will be hundreds of yummy apples falling to the ground soon and we'll need help gathering them all up.
I have a sweet cat, and would be open to someone with a suitable dog. (I love dogs, and if you bring one I hope to cuddle with and walk it.) I may also get my own within the next year.
The neighborhood is convenient and mostly quiet. A five minute walk gets you to the Bear Creek Greenbelt and you can walk or bike for miles to the mountains or into the city. We are about 25 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes to Red Rocks, and 5 minutes to 285 which is great access to the mountains!
Household values: We are friendly and flexible, but don't want any major partying nor smoking. We reduce, reuse, recycle and compost. We value communication and resolving any conflicts with mutual respect. We know that Black Lives Matter, Love is Love, Immigrants help make America great, everyone has human rights and the US must never become a dictatorship.
First and last month's rent/utilities and $500 security deposit due when you move in.
