Our shared home has an opening for a new housemate. We’re seeking someone who resonates with a peaceful mind, wholesome but not rigid lifestyle, and someone who might enjoy community meals and good conversation (optional, not mandatory!)
✨ About the Home Community:
Located in Lakewood, CO (easy access to Colorado Christian University and School of Mines as well as city transit) by Jewell and Garrison
Shared kitchen, common areas includes two living rooms upstairs and downstairs, and a spacious backyard that has a small pond, edible landscaping, and 10 bunnies that bring joy, peace, and presence and help wash away stress.
We often share healthy meals, enjoy soulful, spiritual conversations in the spirit of yoga, joy, and peace. A few of us play music and enjoy hosting occasional gatherings like workshops or birthday celebrations for housemates. Besides housekeeping communication over zoom/in person, we have occasional shared meals and friendly communal time that are completely optional to take part in as you feel called.
The vibe is respectful, harmonious, and gently communal — not a party house, but not austere either!
🌱 Ideal Housemate:
We are giving preference to non smoker and non alcohol drinkers. We are open to working professionals, or a student from a nearby university, or a person in transition who needs a grounded, short-term landing space.
More ambitiously and long-term, we are looking for future community members (aka yogi's who wish to create an intentional community down the line)... someone interested in exploring intentional community (farm fresh food, home cooked meals, singing, communal living, dreaming big for some more land someday and taking steps to make it happen, spiritually minded with some sort of personal practice.) We are looking for someone proactively responsible with shared spaces, kind, and communicative and willing to work on finding shared communication avenues to prevent breakdowns pre-emptively.

Rent + utilities: 900
No more pets preferred (but flexible if you're talking birds, reptiles, or insects... because we do have two cats and don't want any more cats due to their social hierarchy establishing behaviors (ie, pissing random places). We have also had some trouble with dog doo doo being left in the garden with two previous tenants, and one of them was nipping at the cats and bunnies, and that just won't be a good fit, sorry!)
