Peaceful Vegetarian Meditation Community – Capitol Hill, Denver (Single Men's Residence)
We have a room available in a beautiful historic mansion in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood. If you're looking for a peaceful home where you can live simply, practice meditation, and enjoy the company of spiritually minded people, we'd love to hear from you.
Our house is owned and operated by *Ananda Marga*, an international meditation and yoga organization. Residents are welcome to join optional group meditation, yoga, kiirtan (meditation chanting), and other spiritual programs. Participation is always optional.
This is a *residence for single men*. To maintain a peaceful, focused, and meditation-friendly atmosphere, the house is reserved for single male residents. Overnight girlfriends are not permitted. Overnight guests can stay for free for two days.
The house is a spacious four-story historic mansion with hardwood floors, 15 bedrooms, 4 shared bathrooms, a large kitchen, comfortable common areas, and laundry facilities. It is located one block from the Governor's Mansion, about a five-minute bike ride to the Colorado State Capitol, and 10–15 minutes by bike to the Auraria Campus.
*Rent includes heat and electricity.*
* $500 security deposit
* Some furniture available (or bring your own)
* Internet and cable TV available separately
We are looking for someone who values a quiet, respectful, community-oriented lifestyle. Our household follows a traditional yogic way of living, so residents agree not to bring or consume *meat, fish, eggs, onions, garlic, mushrooms, alcohol, tobacco, or narcotic drugs (including marijuana)* on the property. No pets, please.
Whether you're a student, musician, artist, writer, meditator, or simply someone seeking a calm and uplifting place to live, you'll find a friendly community of people who appreciate simple living, spirituality, philosophy, and personal growth.
