I am renting an unfurnished room in a 3 bed / 2 bath house that I own. The rent is $625, plus utilities, which are split by number of people in the house, which is 3 max. Utilities, including high speed fiber internet, will be split by either 2 or 3, depending on the number of people. Both rooms on the main floor will be rented, so it should be 3 people in the house total, including me. In the winter, with a 3 way split, the utilities will range more or less from $80 - $100 ea., with it getting to the higher end in Jan, Feb and March, then going down. In the summer and early fall, they will be about $60 ea.
The room was a spare room/office, so the images have the furniture in them, but most of that has been cleared out except the bed and desk. This furniture will be removed before you move in, unless you'd like to use it.
Available on December 10th (possibly sooner, if needed). The room for rent is on the main floor and the bath room will eventually be shared with another roommate, but for at least the first month or so it will be all yours. Once both main floor rooms are rented there will be 3 people total in the house, including me. My bedroom, bath and living area are in the basement.
The dimensions are approximately 12' x 11' (130 s/f) with 2 windows. The kitchen are laundry room are also shared. The house is cooled by a very efficient evaporative cooler with vents in each bedroom, the living room and kitchen. It works really well.
I am very laid back and easy going. I am a 51 years young woman that likes yoga, to be outdoors and play guitar. I am looking for someone who is clean, positive, upbeat, open-minded and active. The most important thing for me is finding a person who is the right fit and vibe.
I'm near Harvey Park, Belmar Shopping Center, not too far from the Evans Light Rail Station and DU. The house is also right off of Sanderson Gulch Park with a little creek and walking/bike path that leads to the Platte River.
There is no smoking of any kind allowed in the house. And also no pets, except certain caged pets could be fine.
I am also asking for a $650 refundable security deposit to be used in case anything is damaged, or if any rent/utilities are left unpaid after move-out. This can be broken up in to 2 payments of $325 each over 2 months, if needed.
