Looking for: Must pass credit and background checks (application fee). ISO mature professionals looking for a social and comfortable shared living space. This is a communal space, meaning we share our main living spaces, making sure they are clean and comfortable for everyone. Common house chores are shared, as well as mowing the lawn often (per the HOA). One dog currently, but open to additional ones with references, and assuming dogs get along. NO CATs due to allergy. This is a great spot for people who love to spend time outside; the backyard is large and secluded, providing many options for activity or lounging. Kitchen (shared between 2 main-level roommates and tenant(s) in basement apartment)
Updated stainless steel appliances (fridge and freezer with ice machine, dishwasher, oven and electric stove, and microwave), two-compartment sink with sprayer and garbage disposal
About the room - $800/month + utilities
Small bedroom with space for a queen bed, but not much else. Closet with built-in hangers. Two large windows with blinds. This room shares the upstairs communal space with me (the other upstairs tenant). This includes a bar and dining area, a lounging area, and a desk/office area. This is a very open space that we can move things around in to find what works for us. Since the bedrooms are too small for a desk, we have made this a very open multipurpose space. My desk area is under the whiteboard in the photos.
Bathroom: Upstairs roommate shares bathroom with me. Large linen closet outside, undersink space for cleaning supplies, small drawer for personal items. Large tile shower with a seat.
About me:
I am a 22-year-old female with a 3-year-old husky mix. I work full time at a public school nearby and take online college classes at night. I love to cook and bake, hang out with friends, play with my dog, do arts and crafts, read, and listen to music (the house has a record player, stereo sound system, and a large collection of antique vinyl). I love having monthly dinner parties at the house and hosting parties in the backyard in the summers (since we have such a beautiful yard). My dog is very loving and energetic. She is house-trained and spends most of her time outside, since the yard is fenced (looking for a friend who is chill and loves to play!) She stays home while I am at work, in my room, or in the upstairs living space.
