The main expectations: Pay rent on time. Keep a tidy home (meaning constantly pick/clean up after yourself and put/keep things where they belong). Pitch in on your share of house/yardwork as needed. Chip in on cleaning supplies. (These aren't unreasonable expectations for grown, responsible adults. I'm nobody's chambermaid and you shouldn't have to be either).
If you like cranking the tunes without headphones, or you're the kind who has groups of friends over all the time for gaming sessions, it probably won't work. But a friend or girlfriend dropping by is ok. We mainly just work, eat here, watch TV or read or whatever in our own rooms at night, and that's the scene. Pretty simple, relaxed, nice quiet atmosphere.
