I have a private bedroom ready now in our very nice 4-bedroom house. The room is a comfortable 220 square feet and it’s completely unfurnished in case you like to create your own space. We had just added a new window, fresh paint and new carpet, so it was all clean and up to date. The other bathroom shared by the rest of the common areas also got an overhaul, so this isn’t some ratty old bathroom situation.
You share the bathroom with one other guy at a time, maybe two eventually. All of the public spaces are communal — full kitchen, living room, all the goodness. There may be some things still in the room and the closet that you can use if you like, or we can clear them out altogether.
We’re asking for $550 monthly rent with $250 for security deposit — however we can be flexible on breaking up the security deposit if money’s a little tight right now. We understand — moving is costly. Rent includes water, gas, electricity and trash, so no unexpected utility bills.
The backyard is truly amazing - firepit for chilly nights, hot tub for everyone (seriously, there’s nothing like a dip after a long day), a smoker/grill for when you want to cook outside. There’s also laundry in the basement and plenty of storage.
We are seeking a non-smoker, however, occasional pot smoking is A-Okay - just not the whole house constantly smokey, ya' know? We’re fairly occasional drinkers ourselves and both work six-day weeks running our own company so we’re not party animals but we’re not unbelievable stick in the mud either.
No couples — not sorry for that one. You have the dynamic, but it works better with people renting rooms individually. Also no pets because we already have a cat and for some friends, so we have critters around quite a bit, anyway.
You have off-street parking, which is clutch, and we can pro-rate the first month’s rent if you move in during the middle of the month.
It’s an ideal arrangement for a working guy who’s looking for a private space of his own while also liking the idea of having cool roommates and super amenities, including the hot tub and outdoor cooking area. We’re all pretty chill, but responsible.
If that sounds like you’d be willing to consider it, check in and tell me about yourself. What's your work situation? What types of qualities are you seeking in roommates and living situation?
The room is good to go now, so if everything fits we could potentially move you in really fast.
