Multi talented, hard working, seasoned pro (that's me) looking for IMMEDIATE (start today) gig.
CALL ALEX NOW: show contact info
Looking for some no-nonsense, hard workers at your business? Maybe I can help.
==Are you a small business that's way behind on your work and need to get caught up quickly?
==Can't find anyone who actually WANTS to work? Are your workers not "working out"?
==Frustrated and disappointed at the quality of the applicants you're getting?
==You need someone good, no make that GREAT, immediately?
==Or, is it worse? Are you turning away business because you can't keep up with demand? Or, just as bad: are you losing business/ throwing away customers because of inferior customer service? Usually, due to lack of coverage ie, you don't have enough staff.
My name is Alex, a longtime Denver resident living in the University Hills area. I'm a boomer (proud of it) and a business owner and want to get started today with a part or full time permanent position that offers challenge (and some good bread ($)) while I work on my other business. I insist on flexible hours, great pay and permission to deploy my varied arsenal of skills and abilities. I am a multi-talented professional and dependable worker. Would love to work with a single proprietor or a small group of fun loving and entrepreneurial people. (Not cold -calling if you don't mind)
I WANT TO GET STARTED IMMEDIATELY, and here's the thing:
IMPORTANT: I WANT TO SPEND MY TIME WORKING, NOT SPEND MY TIME LOOKING FOR WORK!
Thats why I put this posting together
----------------------------------
First let me detail my ideal situation to see if there's common ground right from the start. If the situation you offer is not at least within this range, it probably won't be a good fit. The first 4 are the biggies.
* MINIMUM $25.00- $30.00++ per hour or realistic equivalent where tips/ bonuses are factored into earnings
* YOU CAN COMMIT TO IMMEDIATE START DATE (tomorrow?) AND CONSISTENT SCHEDULE
* YOU CAN COMMIT TO P/T 20- 30 STEADY CONSISTENT HOURS PER WEEK FOR A MIN. OF 90 DAYS.
* No 100% commission based jobs/ No MLM jobs/ No door to door sales...please?
* Loose management structure which endorses independent, autonomous work with minimal oversight. So, no micro-managers or helicopter supervisors.
I'm really NOT that picky. These "requirements" are not a big deal.
High pay and guaranteed hours are the most important things.
VARIED AND SUCCESSFUL WORK EXPERIENCE:
As mentioned, I currently run a small semi-successful business; an online "made in America" product store (StrictlyUSA.com). It has achieved modest growth, yet supplemental income is essential. From 2014-2018 I worked as a field technician for Aisleworx where I built and maintained video shopping carts in 30 (thirty) Colorado area King Soopers stores. There I successfully handled a multi-store territory. I was the "face" of the company in dealing with the management of a major grocery store chain. Besides that I have an extensive and varied career working in different industries in positions of responsibility.
Most recently, I have worked for a several organizations doing mostly Brand Ambassador work which I enjoy. I have worked with Perfect Bar® nutrition bars, Ka-Pop® snacks, Orgain® health food products and Super KITU Coffee® beverages. In addition, I have worked "Costco Roadshows" temporarily demonstrating & selling a companies products! You've probably seen them in Costco. All of these were outstanding companies with superior products and I was successful and enjoyed the work. However, this industry was pretty much decimated by the lingering after effects of the policies implemented in response to the Covid-19 plandemic. Very few companies have restarted their brand ambassador programs.
At this moment, I spend several days per week doing Instacart® (shopping services) orders and performing GigSmart® (phone app "on-demand" work) jobs. These aren't too bad, though the hours, opportunities and pay are very inconsistent. It's really hit or miss. Well, mostly miss. Have successfully performed many different types of "on demand" work. Catering, warehouse, construction, moving company, brand ambassador type stuff and even some difficult physical jobs. Each time I have received excellent verifiable (via Gigsmart employer section) ratings from all employers. It must be noted that at this time I must forego anything that involves ongoing intensive physical labor. For example, a temporary gig packing a customers possessions for a move and loading them is fine, while an ongoing position that requires humping heavy furniture and appliances all day/ every day, is off the table.
NEW!: As of April 2025, I volunteer every Sunday at the Bridgeway Church Food Pantry from about 11:30- 2:00p. Multiple duties, setting up/ tearing down distribution area, helping customers, packing up food boxes, restocking pick containers, trash/ recycling disposal. And whatever else is needed. Supervisor is Yvonne.
