Before you decide to pass because you saw wire/kits on Amazon or somewhere else for cheap, you should know there is a reason they are cheap. Most of the wire they used is undersized, meaning they use a little bit of actual wire and make the insulation thicker to make it appear like it's the size they claim(you can see the difference in the wire I have from theirs in photos 6 and 9). They also sometimes claim wire is pure copper when it's not. Plus they put exaggerated power ratings of what the kit can handle. I like saving money as much as anyone, but wiring is the one thing I would never skimp out on, risking your car catching on fire just isn't worth it.
Key:
CCA-Copper Clad Aluminum=Aluminum wire wrapped in copper. cost less, but handles less power, not as flexible
OFC-Oxygen Free Copper=Pure copper wire. superior performance and more flexible, but more expensive
Gauges-The smaller the number, the thicker the wire. For example, 4 gauge is a thicker wire than 8 gauge
I also have LOC's(line output converters) which allow you to hook up and aftermarket amplifier to a factory stereo system. Check out one of my other listings if you need one(most are just $5).
Amplifier Install kits
8gauge kit (photos 2)
$35 (similar kits typically sell for $45-70)

Wire type: OFC (pure copper)
Fuse: AGU(glass tube type) 60amp
Power handling: 700 watts
4 gauge kit (photo 3)
$65 (similar kits start at $75 and go up to about $130)
new
OFC(pure copper) wire
wire handles up to 1500w
ANL type fuse and holder. however, smallest ANL fuse I have at the moment is 250a. looking to get some 125a soon
Power / Ground Wire
Pure copper 8 gauge wire (photos 4-6)
$1/ft
$40 for 50ft (comes out to .75/ft)
Power handling: 700watts, maybe even up to 800w
Can also be used as speaker wire for high power subwoofer, or for replacing/upgrading ground and other automotive wires since many times they use only up to 10 gauge.
Pure copper 4 gauge wire (photos 7-9)
$2.50/ft
handles up to 1300-1500watts
Can also be used as battery or jumping cables in most cases. Can also be used to do a "Big 3" upgrade to most stock alternators to help increase the performance of the charging system.
Xscorpion Expert Link 1/0 gauge OFC wire (photo 10)
$220 for 50ft roll
still sealed
Sky High Audio pure copper oversized 1/0 gauge (photos 11-12)
$250 50ft roll or $5.75 per foot
Handles up to 3,000 watts
Sky High Audio is top of the line when it comes to car audio wiring.
Can also be used to make a "Big 3" upgrade to your charging system, as battery cable, jumper cable, inverter install, solar, battery relocation/adding second battery, replacing or upgrading ground cables, and many more uses.
4 gauge battery cable (photo 13)
$3 each (a pair of cable ends alone would usually cost more than that)
4 available($10 if you buy all 4)
CCA wire
27 inches long from one cable ring hole to the other
meant for installing power inverters
would also be good for adding or upgrading ground cables
