If you are looking to upgrade your 97-06 TJ with a Ford 8.8 rear axle please contact me. 8.8 is much stronger axle then Dana 35 or Dana 44. Axle comes with disc brakes, 31 spline axle shafts, larger axle tubes, stronger ring and pinion, and stronger yoke. Will wheels fit? Yes it is same bolt pattern as the factory 35 or 44 (5x4.5) even uses same thread for lug nuts. Axle is slightly narrower but if you are running aftermarket wheels with around 4 inch back spacing you will be fine. Other option is to use spacers if you would like to keep your factory wheels (they are around 5 inch backspacing on OEM wheels). The disc brakes will help your Jeep stop better with oversized tires. I have done over 400 of these axles for TJ alone (over 1500 8.8 swaps in all for different vehicles). You may need an adjustable track bar depending on your lift. I have had the most success with the JKS OGS151 rear adjustable Track bar. Axles come with 3.08, 3.55, or 3.73. If you need 4.10, 4.56 or 4.88 that is extra. And now offering 5.13 front and rear
I offer a complete install package with your front Dana 30 geared to match for 4.10, 4.56 or 4.88 $2100 out the door, 5.13 $2200 out the door.
If you want 4.10, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13 add $300 to the price.
Used Limited slip or open diff are the same price.
