At this height, you can have:
1. A full view from the rear view mirror
2. More room for gear inside the bed such as bikes
3. And more room to mount on the rack.
The rack comes with extra accessory panels on each side for more mounting options along with the maxtrax brackets. It will also come with the brackets needed to mount directly on the bed or the optional brackets to mount with a tonneau cover.
The rack is great shape. I went from a short bed truck to a full bed and had to go to a longer rack.
Dimensions: 46” long X 22” high with an adjustable width to fit various truck size bed.
