Selling my Tamron 17-28mm lens in perfect “like new” condition. Purchased from Alpine Camera a few months ago and decided to go in a different direction. The lens was refurbished by Tamron prior to purchase (see below) and is a tack sharp copy. Lens comes with everything you see including: lens, front and rear caps, lens hood, original box and paperwork. This lens is in perfect condition and only used a few times.

I am a professional landscape photographer and buy refurbished lenses whenever possible. Not only are the less expensive than buying new, but all refurbished lenses are thoroughly checked by a manufacturer quality representative and adjusted if needed to meet new specs for every quality control item. It is the safest way to purchase a lens, especially from a third-party manufacturer such as Tamron and Sigma who’s manufacturer quality procedures are not as thorough as the big Camera manufacturers (Sony, Nikon & Canon).
