We have a 2 year old 120lb. Mastiff/Rottweiler named Oberon. He has had fear/anxiety issues since he was born and recently was diagnosed with Addison's disease (where he can't product enough stress hormone, cortisol). As much as he is a part of our family, I fear the only way he will enjoy his life is if he's out on a farm with space to run and play, and without the noise of town and strangers that cause him nonstop stress.
He is very protective when he gets to know you, is sweet with kids and other dogs (once he knows they aren't a threat), and is one of the most beautiful souls.
He is a very big dog, and even stronger than he is big. He's never hurt/bit anyone or any other dog - but he will take someone decently strong to handle in stressful environments/situations.
Oberon has worked with a professional for the last 6 months that trains and knows him well, and will board him when needed. We really don't want to put him down, as he deserves a life meant for him. So, if you have a farm or a peaceful place where you can give Oberon a great life, or know someone that does, please reach out to me and we can set up a meet and greet.
