Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and tech-savvy Office Assistant to join our team in the sales and production department of our upholstery shop. This position requires no prior experience but relies on a positive personality, strong communication skills, and proficiency with technology and computers. As an Office Assistant, you will support our sales and production teams by handling administrative tasks, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth operations within our office environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist with inquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, redirecting them as necessary.
- Maintain and update customer databases and records.
- Assist with order processing, including data entry and paperwork.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Help maintain office supplies and equipment, including printers and computers.
- Perform basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing and processing payments.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Uphold office ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service or office administration is a plus but not required.
Familiarity or will be become familiar with upholstery or furniture industry terminology.

Working Conditions:
