We need somebody very reliable to open and close our business and provide a great customer experience.
Main tasks:
1) Greeting every customer and checking them in.
2) Explaining the service and rules of the Spa to new clients.
3) Helping customers reschedule appointments.
4) Light cleaning (launder towels, drain the cold plunges and change the filters, mop high traffic areas once a day)
5) Calling professionals when service is needed on equipment (schedule a plumber, appliance specialist, etc. numbers will be provided)
6) Restocking items (paper towels, soap, etc.) via Amazon deliveries
2 most important things about this role
1) You must be reliable - we need somebody to open the business on time and make sure customers can check in. Failure to open the business would not be accepted.
2) A great customer service experience. The number 1 reason that our business would get bad reviews would be rude customer service. We CANNOT have that.
You are NOT expected to do the heavy lifting when it comes to cleaning, we will hire a cleaning service to make sure the space stays clean.
Hours: shift 1 from 6AM until 10:30 AM. Shift 2 from 3PM until 9:30PM.
It is important that all employees would be able to cover both shifts, as load balancing may be necessary (though this should be rare).
Pay and benefits: Base pay $23 an hour, $2 per hour bonus paid out annually for employee retention. We are specifically looking for somebody who will stick with us for at least a year. You would get free access to use our sauna and cold plunge in your non-working hours.
The ideal candidate would enjoy working with the customers because it’s very rare anybody leaves a spa feeling bad. We want this job to be fun for you, for you to make friends with our customers, and enjoy the pleasure our customers get from visiting our business.
