Project coordinator needed to provide support for project managers in a commercial general contractors office.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Three years experience in a commercial general contractors office, or with a large subcontractor. (see below for further information).
• Proficient with computer software programs similar to Word, and Excel.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task.
• Must be energetic and able to lift 20 lbs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process and log change orders, submittals, shop drawings, RFI's, ASI's, addenda, AIA applications for payment, proposal requests, and other typical construction documents. If you don't know the definition of most of these items, please do not apply.
• Attend pre-bid meeting and bid openings.
• Processing payments to vendors and subcontractors.
• Track and log invoices for accounting.
• Photograph completed construction projects for advertising.
• Advertise for new projects and or a new storage company
• Errands outside the office to pick up plans, specifications, permits, etc.
• Answer phones for storage company or construction company.
