Poplight makes the wall sconce you actually want to live with - rechargeable, USB-C powered, and tool-free to install. No drilling, no electrician, no landlord drama: just peel, stick, and light up your space. We're app-controlled, dimmable, available in multiple color temps, and built with a swappable battery pack so you're never stuck waiting on a charge.
We're a Denver-based, LGBTQ+ and women-owned DTC brand. We've been featured on Shark Tank and named Wirecutter's Best Overall cordless rechargeable wall sconce. Underneath the press, we're a small, scrappy team that cares a lot about getting the details right: the product, the unboxing, the way a light makes a rental feel like home. We move fast, we're direct with each other, and we have a good sense of humor about the chaos of building a physical product brand from the ground up.
We're looking for the right person to prepare orders and manage our in house fulfillment.
The Role
As our Warehouse & Fulfillment Manager, you'll own the physical heartbeat of Poplight: every order that goes out the door, every unit that comes in, and the space it all happens in. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who takes pride in a tight, accurate operation and resolves customer problems quickly.
You'll be the first fulfillment hire in our new in-house warehouse, which means you're not just executing a process - you're helping build it.
What You'll Do
Pick, Pack & Ship
Accurately pick and pack daily orders to our quality and packaging standards. Ship all order from the day and previous days before 1pm MST
Hit same-day and next-day shipping targets, especially during peak campaign periods
Spot and proactively resolve shipping problems before they become customer complaints — wrong addresses, carrier delays, damaged packaging, mis-picks
Inventory Integrity
Maintain an accurate, real-time count of all inventory across SKUs
Run regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies quickly
Execute custom requests from our customer support team
Warehouse Operations
Keep the fulfillment environment clean, organized, and safe
Manage inbound container shipments on-site: unloading, receiving, and putaway
Optimize warehouse layout and workflow as order volume grows
Communication
Communicate clearly and quickly with the broader Poplight team on order status, shipping issues, and inbound timing
Be the on-the-ground source of truth for anything happening at the warehouse
Schedule & Hours
This is a part-time role, 20–30 hours per week, with built-in flexibility: once orders are packed and your tasks for the day are done, you're free to clock out early. We care about the work getting done well, not about clocking hours for the sake of it.
As Poplight grows, we expect this role's hours to grow with it.
That said, expect additional hours during peak shipping periods — Labor Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday are our busiest stretches, and we'll need extra coverage to keep up with order volume. You will be supported by additional team members during peak seasons.
What We're Looking For
Experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or logistics (DTC/e-commerce background a strong plus) or a strong willingness to learn
Sharp attention to detail
A proactive, "I'll handle it" mindset
Comfortable with physical work: lifting, standing, moving inventory. Must be able to lift 25 lbs
Clear, direct communicator. You over-communicate rather than under-communicate
Experience or willingness to learn inventory or order management software (Shopify experience a plus)
Why Poplight
Small team, real impact - your work directly grows the business
Work for a founder-led, mission-driven brand that's been recognized nationally but still operates like the scrappy startup it is
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
