Every person needs the support of others. North Metro is looking for incredible people to support adults and individuals with disabilities; people with emotional, behavioral or medical complexities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with North Metro Community Services you can be one of those incredible people.
DSP's are a direct link to the community for those we serve. For some, the DSP may be the voice of those unable to speak, or the eyes for those who can't see. For others, they are a friend, a mentor and subtle support on the path to one's true potential.
The DSP also happens to be one of the best places to start in our company with many career options to move up and across the organization. We have many success stories from people at all levels that started out in one of our DSP roles.
North Metro Community Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide assistance to adults in Day Program settings. DSP's provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. All DSP's also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSP's support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with a team of nurses, supervisors and administrators to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
