Late 20's/early 30's drummer and guitarists looking for a Singer and a Bassist. We all have jobs and wives, would be a jam band/weekend local gigger type group for fun playing covers or originals.
I (drummer) have been classically trained from marching band/indoor percussion/WGI, heavy use of metronome.
The guitarist has a blues-rock/rock influence geared toward upbeat music. Loves melodic lead work, adding color, and improvising. Has taken lessons for 4–5 years and appreciates guitar-driven music of all kinds. Strengths are adding to a creative foundation of rhythm.
Music heavily influenced by The Story So Far, Neck Deep, Hot Mulligan, ADTR, Mammoth, Yellowcard, Dance Gavin Dance, third eye blind, Dio. Open to other sounds if it's fun to play.
Enjoy playing pop punk/rock with a upbeat feel and fun riffs/fills.
Ideal singer can match Haley Williams (wildly optimistic) but strong power vocals would fit well with the genres we play. A screamer would be a plus. We can always match our songs to your vocal ability. Sad lyrics with a happy tune type of songs. Making people cry to songs called "upstairs tugboat" or something. If you like those genres, welcome aboard.
Bassist preferably should have some percussion background or deep rhythm zen. Vibing with the drummer is mandatory for that sweet, sweet groove.
Have our own practice space (pictured) in Littleton.
If you made it this far, hit me up. Let's jam, see if we vibe and go from there.
