Metal Drummer seeking players/possible band. 1

Hello, I just turned 50, and started playing only 2 years ago. I have taken lessons from an excellent instructor who can help with notations/transcribing anything. My current skill level is working on metric modulations and syncopations, which, according to my instructor, is pushing advanced drumming techniques. As much as I love playing fast/hard, I respect the music I play enough to want to play it correctly. I enjoy thrash, progressive, and some death metal.

I play a higher-end Roland electronic kit, but am willing and want to find a reason to invest in an acoustic. I am hoping to find a few people with similar interests who, at a minimum, want to get together and try to tighten up a handful of songs. I hope to hear from some chill players!
